The exclusive Abama complex is located in Guía de Isora. It comprises a large 158-hectare strip of land that stretches from the coastline to almost 400 metres above sea level, with splendid views of the southwest coast of the island., Although it is in the process of development and consolidation, this complex is a European leader in terms of tourism excellence, including –among other aspects– an exquisite culinary offer backed by two restaurants with a combined total of three Michelin stars (MB and Kabuki). The Abama Hotel is integrated into an 18-hole golf course that will be expanded to 27. It has a maximum capacity of 3,666 tourist slots, spread over several 5-star hotel and apartment establishments, plus residential land of the “city garden” type.
Based on the planning model established by the Guía de Isora General Urban Zoning Plan (protected by the original “Club de Campo” Partial Plan), our company carried out (and continues to draft) several planning modifications in the complex with their corresponding management documents. Our objectives consist of improving the road connectivity between sub-area 1 (planned and under development) and sub-area 2 (not planned); developing the latter sub-area to enable the expansion of the golf course; adjusting the road system and the topography of the original plot to optimise the sea views; etc.
