The municipality of Garachico, located in the north of the Island of Tenerife, features two well-differentiated areas: the coastal strip located between the sea and the Protected Landscape, that is, the cliffs Acantilados de La Culata, where the Garachico Centre Historical Ensemble.
The municipality of Guía de Isora is located on the leeward side of the island of Tenerife. Its Protected Natural Areas amount to 57% of the municipal area. The municipality is home to areas of great heritage value.
In order to requalify the tourist centre of Corralejo, the scope of intervention was set to the coastal area due to the great regenerative power of the coast on the whole. It spreads from the traditional city centre to the Las Dunas Nature Park.
The initial fast and spontaneous urban growth of San Isidro (receiver of the agriculture and tourism working population) brought with it serious deficiencies in the functionality of the urban centre. It was subsequently zoned in order to provide proper services: road systems, open areas, other facilities.
The municipality of Granadilla, located in the Abona region in the south of Tenerife, plays a strategic role on the island by bringing together the Island Logistics Platform (existing airport, port under construction, industrial park, etc.) and other top-level pieces of infrastructure (Island Motor Sports Centre).
The La Jaquita Sector, developable land with a mixed residential/tourist use, is located to the northwest of the urban land of the Alcalá centre, adjoining thereto. The criteria and objectives of an urban planning nature were to enable an improved qualification of the tourist accommodation offer.
